The Cargo combines the benefits of a bicycle (it’s eco-friendly, extremely compact, cheap to maintain) with the advantages of a car (weather protection, driver safety, cargo capacity). As a Pedelec, it perfectly combines the strengths of each: four wheels, roof, electrical assist, free from emissions, no driver's license needed. For flexible, individual mobility and the environmentally friendly transport of goods in urban environments.

The Cargo has a whole range of potential applications. At first, it will be available to commercial customers only. We think it will be highly beneficial in scenarios such as express courier services, providing mobility and transport on modern campus zones, not to mention industry complexes. Other target customers include city and municipal authorities, the food & drink sector, retail and skilled trade enterprises.

The Cargo’s permitted road speed is the same as that of a Pedelec, i.e. up to 25 km/h electrically assisted (plus a statutory tolerance).

Yes, it has an electrically powered reverse gear. Warning lights, reverse lights, and a warning beep which alerts other road users to the maneuvering process. In maneuver mode, you can comfortably pedal forward and backward. This makes parking, both entering and exiting, as well as maneuvering, an easy task.

The double wishbone axles at front and solid axles at rear with spring suspension strut and stabiliser bars mean enhanced levels of comfort for the driver. And by softening the shocks, the suspension also protects the Cargo’s components.

You can park the Cargo like any other cargo bike or cycle. The plan is that larger-sized cities will, in future, establish dedicated cargo bike parking spaces. Theoretically, one car-parking space can accommodate three Cargos. Additionally, the Cargo is equipped with a dual parking safety system: an RFID system with Quick-Lock function and an electronic parking brake. This ensures that the Cargo is protected against unintentional rolling.

Four wheels give the Cargo its high driving stability. Specially developed in our Mubea Automotive division, the rims combined with high-grade braking system and smart lighting system with integrated indicators, also mean enhanced visibility on the road.

It has a range of up to 25 kilometers, depending on road conditions, assistance, body, type of use, payload and terrain. Adding a second battery increases the range up to 50 kilometres.

You can constantly monitor the battery's charge level on the dashboard or on the battery itself, so you don't need to worry about being caught out by a flat battery. For added range, we can supply an optional second battery. In an emergency, the Cargo can also be ridden without electric assistance.

The roof design together with the windshield in combination with the wheel splash guards and front fairing, already ensure the driver remains practically 100% dry. There are no current plans to add a side door.

Yes, the Cargo has regenerative brakes. Backpedaling and recuperation are combined. With its smart engine control, the Cargo will start recuperating energy and initiate smooth braking whenever you start pedaling backwards. This means reduced wear and tear on the hydraulic brake and increased range for your Cargo.

The Cargo is equipped with a serial drivetrain, meaning a powerful motor and no chain, in particular! This has the advantage of requiring fewer maintenance components for the vehicle. The result: less wear, reduced service costs, and improved performance.
